The company is a strategic platform, as Hungary is the natural center of gravity of the Central Eastern Europe area and an important axis for reaching the Eurasian markets. Mikro Kapital Hungary Kft is our centralized operations-control hub for all areas and markets where our firm operates innovative microfinance and impact finance services.

Launched in 2008, Mikro Kapital is a group focused in the use of microfinance techniques for investing in small businesses across emerging areas of the world, with a focus on EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions. Mikro Kapital focuses its activities on microcredit to MSMEs only as we believe that Micro and Small businesses are the most dynamic segments of the economy and are less exposed to the volatility on the global financial markets. We also deem that MSMEs have high growth potential due to deleveraging in the banking sector that took place in the last decade.
Microcredit has a direct influence on business, stimulating the growth of small companies and increasing the wellbeing of their owner, therefore making it highly valuable at a social level. At the same time, it provides a very interesting opportunity for investors to diversify their portfolio by investing in core business in the industrial, agricultural, and service sectors, which are flourishing thanks to the enthusiasm of their managers and which are largely unaffected by the volatility of the financial markets.
